Sea Horses & Me (18mo-3yrs, Co-Ed)

“I still need some help from my adult to navigate the world, but boy am I ready to travel it! I love to jump, climb, and crawl on anything I can get into and I can’t wait to try new things.”

This is a parent/guardian assisted class for ages 18 months-3 years old. We use obstacle courses, games, trampoline, and play in the foam pit to encourage mobility, balance, and coordination with your child.

Class Prerequisites

  • 18 mo - 3 years
  • One adult participant per child participant
  • Adult participant must attend class with their child, actively engaged in the class and within 3 feet of their child at all times on the gym floor
  • Able to be redirected by coach or parent to stay with the class throughout the gym

Students in this class may graduate to an independently-attended Sea Otters (3-4y) class once they are at least three years of age and potty trained.

Sea Otters (3-4 yrs, Co-Ed)

"I am very good at listening, although I will test you to see if you will make me. I am learning to listen to others even if my mom isn’t here and I am excited to do as much activity & play as I can. So be ready to entertain me!"

In this class, students will focus on increasing mobility and balance through a series of obstacle courses to create comfortability with rolling, jumping, climbing, and hanging. We focus on growing young students’ confidence and capacity to follow instructions, interact with peers, and move in their own bodies!

Class Prerequisites

This class is designed for 3 & 4 year olds who graduate from our Sea Horses (Buddy and Me) class and/or kids who are ready to attend class independently.

  • Fully potty trained
  • Must be 3 or 4 years of age
  • Able to stay with the class throughout the gym and/or responds to redirection

Some students may need to attend a Sea Horses & Me or Buddy & Me class to get used to our gym before they are ready to join independently in a Sea Otters class. We ask guardians to stay inside the building for all children under 5 for their first few classes to promote comfort in a new environment.

Dolphins (4-5 yrs, Co-Ed)

"I am no longer a baby sea otter but I am still not quite ready to swim with the big fish. I know how to follow the leader although I still like to be free to sing songs and play. I am starting to learn some big kid gymnastics although I enjoy more play based gymnastics."

In this class, students will continue to build their foundation of mobility and balance, while starting to more actively work on skills such as rolls, jumps, and strength. Continuing to use obstacle courses to teach movement throughout a variety of movements, this class also offers more opportunity for students to learn more specific skills on singular events such as beam, bars, vault, and floor.

Class Prerequisites

This class is designed to be a step up from the Sea Otters class. Students may join this class at 4 years or with early coach recommendation.

  • Fully potty trained
  • 4 or 5 years of age
  • Able to stay with the class throughout the gym and responds to redirection
